Christopher J. Canlas

Christopher J. Canlas is the founding attorney and managing partner of Canlas Law, a distinguished law firm based in Cerritos, California. Dedicated to helping employees and disabled individuals secure the benefits and compensation they deserve, he employs a client-centered approach, working closely with clients in and around Cerritos, Southern California and the Central Coast. 

With nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Canlas has successfully litigated and tried numerous cases in workers’ compensation and employment law. Admitted to the California Bar in 2006, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in the same year, Mr. Canlas holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2001. His educational background and professional qualifications have equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively represent his clients.
