With a background in accounting, Mr. Sanchez holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, which he earned in 1982. He then proceeded to enroll at the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1989. In the same year, he was admitted to practice law in California. He further bolstered his legal acumen by completing his LL.M. in taxation in 1991 and receiving a diploma from the Mexico Institute in International and Comparative Law at the USD School of Law.
