During her time at law school, she was a proactive leader, serving as a Student Bar Association class representative for three consecutive years and actively participating in the Public Interest Law Foundation. Her academic excellence was recognized with two Witkin Awards for her top performance in Trial Practice and Wills and Trusts Lab. Her journey into family law began in her second year at Chapman University, working at a Costa Mesa firm known for handling high-profile and high-asset cases.

Ms. Hollis’ commitment to public service is deeply rooted in her upbringing, as she was raised in a family devoted to helping others. Her passion for family law and supporting victims of domestic violence was sparked during her junior year at California Baptist University. There, she interned as a victim advocate at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, an experience that solidified her desire to make a difference in the lives of those facing challenging circumstances. As an undergraduate, she honed her public speaking skills as a member and co-captain of the Speech and Debate Team, laying the foundation for her courtroom prowess.
