Brent Kaspar is the founding and managing partner of Kaspar & Lugay LLP in Corte Madera, California. He concentrates his practice on high net worth divorce proceedings, complex asset division, spousal support determinations and an array of other family law matters. His rare dual competence as both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant equips him to untangle sophisticated financial portfolios and craft a strategy that protects his clients’ interests at every turn.
An accomplished academic, Mr. Kaspar earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he distinguished himself through rigorous coursework and moot court successes. Earlier, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in accounting, from Oklahoma State University. Admitted to The State Bar of California and to practice before the United States Tax Court, he draws upon a deep reservoir of tax-related knowledge and litigation experience.
Before founding Kaspar & Lugay LLP, Mr. Kaspar served as a tax litigation attorney at a respected regional firm. There, he represented individuals and corporations in complex tax disputes, sharpening his ability to negotiate favorable resolutions and, when necessary, advocate forcefully in court. He remains an active member of The State Bar of California and the American Association of Attorney-CPAs, contributing to the dialogue at the intersection of legal and accounting professions.
Away from his practice, Mr. Kaspar also demonstrates a steadfast commitment to community service, providing pro bono representation to those in need and participating in charitable initiatives through his local Rotary Club. Combining legal rigor, financial insight and genuine civic engagement, he offers clients an exceptional level of counsel and support.
