While pursuing his legal degree, he was an editor of the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, and he completed externships with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California as well as with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Simon holds his admission to practice before all state and U.S. District Courts in California, and he is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum and the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, where he currently serves as director.
