Barry S. Pearlman

Barry S. Pearlman, the founder of Pearlman, Brown & Wax, LLP, embarked on his legal journey as a solo practitioner in 1984, focusing his practice exclusively on employment litigation and workers' compensation. The firm's main office is located in Encino, California, catering to clients across the Encino Metro area. Over time, his firm expanded its reach by establishing branch offices in various locations, including Glendale, Ventura County, Orange, San Diego, South Bay and Northern California.

Mr. Pearlman's role as the managing partner of the firm goes hand in hand with maintaining a full caseload. He represents insurance carriers, employers and third-party administrators. His responsibilities also extend to managing the firm's sports teams unit, which deals with defending claims made against NHL, NFL and other sports teams in California.

Notably, Mr. Pearlman is also the exclusive counsel for a multinational employer, handling LC132a discrimination and serious misconduct claims. His litigation experience includes numerous victories before the Appellate and Superior Courts of California and the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.

Recognized as an esteemed figure in the employment law and workers' compensation realms, Mr. Pearlman frequently engages as a lecturer and instructor on prevailing trends in legal procedure and strategy.
