With a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Kansas State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, Ms. Hamilton has represented individual inventors, emerging growth businesses and Fortune 1000 companies, using her breadth of knowledge regarding intellectual property law. Her clientele extends through a variety of industries, and she enjoys an incredibly diverse practice with both foreign and domestic trademark portfolios. During her time at University of Kansas, she also served the law review and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class.
She is admitted to practice in California, Missouri, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and was previously admitted in the state of Kansas. Considering business objectives, product life, budget considerations, product type and distribution territories and channels, Ms. Hamilton helps clients identify the correct form of intellectual property. She also negotiates and drafts intellectual property and technology agreements in a variety of technical fields and provides noninfringement, invalidity and product clearance opinions.
