Owner and founder of the DeMaria Law Firm, Anthony N. DeMaria represents clients in California and Colorado in matters of insurance and public entity defense. A member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, his practice focuses on representing insurance companies and their clients, and he has experience defending cases in judge trials, jury trials, federal courts and state courts.

Admitted to practice in the state of California, Mr. DeMaria is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He graduated from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts, a major in political science and a minor in history. At the University of San Diego School of Law, he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor.

While in law school, Mr. DeMaria received several honors, including the American Jurisprudence Award for Advanced Trial Advocacy and Torts and Legal Writing. Verdicts / Settlements (Case Results)

  • Mr. DeMaria was the defense trial attorney for San Diego Sports in the high profile Doyle v. San Diego Sports case in San Diego County Superior Court, in California, in the summer of 2022.  He successfully obtained a jury verdict of 75% liability against other parties in the case, beating expectations.  The Doyle trial followed Mr. DeMaria's defense verdict won in the case of Boyajian v. JC Penney in Fresno County, California. , 2022
  • Mr. DeMaria defended a school district and its employee in California in a suit wherein the plaintiff alleged that negligence and battery of a coach resulted in arm fractures and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).  After a three week trial in state court, Mr. DeMaria won a defense verdict on all causes of action. , 2025
