Throughout his career, Mr. Webb has represented companies and their leaders in 87 formidable jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations across 14 counties in California, spanning over 304 days. His legal battles include, but are not limited to, real property disputes, breach of contract, business conflicts, and various employment and general contract issues. He also serves as a paneled mediator for two superior courts in California and as judge pro tem for the Superior Court of California.
Mr. Webb obtained his law degree from California Western School of Law, during which he was published twice in the law reviews of both California Western School of Law and Columbia Law School. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and completed the honors curriculum at Walla Walla University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree.
Licensed to practice in California in 2005, Mr. Webb was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 9th and 10th Circuits. He is also affiliated with the Fresno County Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Webb’s prowess is not confined to the courtroom; he has been recognized as class counsel in over 30 class action cases and has secured numerous significant victories, including a trial hailed “trial of the month” by the San Diego County Bar Association. His leadership has steered clients to success in various appellate courts nationwide.
An author and thought leader, Mr. Webb has penned influential works. He has also been a pivotal speaker and moderator on cutting-edge legal topics involving digital media at trial and the intricacies of social media evidence in legal proceedings. - Rutledge v Ameriguard: Defense verdict after bench trial in San Diego Class Action. $4,200,000 at issue. Selected by Westlaw for San Diego County Bar Association’s “Trial of the Month”.
- Judgment Enforcement: Obtained “no-knock” warrants directing sheriff to break and enter commercial business for seizure of private property in order to satisfy 6-digit judgment. Teaches Judgment Enforcement and handles stable of enforcement clients for commercial (non-consumer) collection issues in business-to-business arena.
- Bad Faith Insurance Litigation: The Webb Law Group team obtained indemnification & attorney fees for over $350,000 where the insurance company had denied the request to indemnify for client who had four prior law firms.
- Administrative Complaints: Exhausted administrative remedies with Board of Equalization including a 2-3 split decision in a live hearing with the Sacramento BOE representatives in full session, filed suit in Superior Court afterwards against BOE and settled for 6% of the amount demanded by the BOE.
- Civil Litigation: Has handled matters at all stages of litigation. Over 79 jury and bench trials. Well over 600 depositions. Heavier trial years include 14 weeks of trials in 2013 alone, and 6 trials to verdict during 2017.
