Tamila Jensen

Attorney Tamila Jensen is the sole practitioner at Law Offices of Tamila C. Jensen, P.C., in Granada Hills, California. Serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles metro and surrounding areas, Ms. Jensen has more than 47 years of legal experience, and she provides invaluable counsel and support to individuals and families who have legal needs involving any of the following:

Among her legal credentials, Ms. Jensen is a certified mediator pursuant to the California Dispute Resolution Program Act, and she has achieved significant success helping her clients resolve their conflicts and reach favorable agreements without the need for expensive, time-consuming and adversarial court battles. She also has extensive experience in real estate and small business law, which helps her to better address her clients' complex property and business succession needs as they relate to their estates.

A leader in her legal community, Ms. Jensen has served as chair of the Women Lawyers Section and Resolutions Committee for the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, and she has served on the organization's board of trustees as well as its delegate to the State Bar Contention, the ABA Conference of Delegates and the Conference of California Bar Associations. She currently serves as president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where she has also served as vice president and a member with board of trustees.

Ms. Jensen is also an active member of several other legal organizations, and she has served on a number of committees, task forces and panels throughout her region and across the country. She also has several publications to her credit, and she has conducted lectures and seminars on a variety of topics related to estate planning, real property, business development, conservatorships and other subjects, including seminars at University of Debrecen Faculty of Law in Hungary and at the European School of Law and Governance in Pristina, Kosovo.

After graduating with great distinction from the University of California at Berkeley in 1969, Ms. Jensen attended the University of California, Davis, School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1973 and graduated Order of the Coif as well as member of Phi Kappa Phi. While in law school, she served as staff writer and managing editor of the UCD Law Review. She earned her Master of Laws in Transnational Commercial Transactions from Lazarski University in 2015.

She is admitted to practice before all state courts in California as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California and the California and U.S. Supreme Courts.
