Ms. Solmer provides aggressive representation in litigating a wide spectrum of employment law claims before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She specializes in all types of employment law disputes, including harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, wage and hour, and other related manners. As an advocate of the National Women's Law Center Time's Up Legal Defense Fund, Ms. Solmer has a passion for representing women who have been subjected to sexual and gender-based harassment and discrimination. 

Ms. Solmer is caring and compassionate as an advocate, fierce and skilled in litigation. With a background in psychology, Ms. Solmer approaches her clients' needs in a trauma-informed manner every step of the way through the entire litigation process. Ms. Solmer's education and experience makes her especially well suited for women who have undergone harassment or other trauma victims. 

Prior to founding Solmer Law, Ms. Solmer represented employers of all sizes in litigation and provided advice and counsel. Capitalizing on insights gained from past experience on the defense side, Ms. Solmer tailors a strategy to achieve the most advantageous result in any dispute, while zealously advocating on your behalf. Ms. Solmer has represented clients across many industries, including clerical, retail, restaurants, insurance, staffing, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, and many others.

Ms. Solmer attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she earned a degree in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Russian Literature. Ms. Solmer then attended Southwestern Law School where she represented employees through Bet Tzedek's Employment Rights Litigation Unit before the California Labor Commissioner, the only non-profit at the time assisting undocumented workers. In law school, Ms. Solmer also completed a Summer Program in International Business Transactions and International Dispute Resolution at the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ms. Solmer has been nominated to the Lawyers of Distinction list in the employment and labor law practice. She has a score of 10.0 on Avvo and has been recognized by The National Advocates: Top 40 Under 40. She has taught employees about wage and hour rights while at Bet Tzedek and has been a guest lecturer on Employment Discrimination at El Camino College. Ms. Solmer's contributions in Spanish were published in Columbia Law School's Human Rights Law Review's “A Jailhouse Lawyer's Manual and Supplement,” a legal practice guide for detainees.
