Selected to Super Lawyers for 2025-2026 after earlier recognition as a Rising Star, Bart Kaspero is the founder of Kaspero Law in Irvine, California, and a trial lawyer whose practice increasingly emphasizes plaintiff-side personal injury. He maintains a criminal defense practice as well, but that dual background defines his edge: years spent defending serious criminal matters sharpened the courtroom instincts, evidentiary discipline, and cross-examination skills he now brings to injury litigation.
With nearly two decades of courtroom experience, Mr. Kaspero approaches personal injury and criminal cases with a trial lawyer’s understanding of how facts are tested, how credibility is attacked, and how pressure shapes litigation strategy. That background helps him investigate liability with rigor, challenge weak defenses, and present damages in a clear and persuasive way for injured plaintiffs. His current work includes matters involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, brain injury, trucking accidents, wrongful death, and other negligence-based claims, while he continues to advise select clients in criminal and related high-stakes matters. At any point in time, he is in the midst of either selecting jurors for trial or conducting special hearings on formative motions he brings to the court.
Mr. Kaspero earned his bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), with honors, and received his J.D. from Chapman School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court honors board and concentrated on trial advocacy. He clerked for the Hon. Ngo T. Nguyen and interned with the Newport Beach City Attorney’s Office, experiences that strengthened his grounding in litigation, constitutional issues, and public-sector legal practice.
He also developed a distinctive profile at the intersection of law, privacy, and technology. After completing specialized BI/DW coursework at UC Irvine, he went on to develop RecordFixer, a legal-technology platform focused on criminal record privacy. He later served as Special Counsel with an international law firm before establishing his current firm in Irvine in early 2023.
Across each phase of his career, the throughline has remained the same: disciplined trial preparation, strategic problem-solving, and committed advocacy for clients facing serious consequences.
