I first faced in-house counsel and then three separate defense firms in conservative Maricopa County. - $500,000.00 Uninsured Motorist recovery Car collision. The Traffic Collision Report placed client at fault for unsafe speed causing client to collide into the DUI, disabled, blacked-out vehicle. Client underwent operative fixation of left acetabular fracture (hip), 2019

- 3-year-old boy run over and killed (Los Angeles, CA) $100,000.00 settlement (limits of the applicable insurance policies) Client was boy's mother. Boy was not properly supervised at an Easter celebration at the mother's friend's house and he found his way into the street. The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital. (2016 Settlement; 4/5/2015 Date of Loss)., 2016
- $365,000.00 total settlement (limits of all applicable insurance policies). Three separate defense law firms were involved with the defense. Bicyclist client sustained catastrophic injuries; femur and tibia fractures and surgeries; dislocated shoulder. Traffic Collision Report and witness put client at fault. Settlement included homeowners insurance policy and automobile policy from defendant driver Nanny / Housekeeper's employers (Law School Dean and Doctor) even though Nanny / Housekeeper was not in the course and scope of employment at the time but merely because Nanny / Housekeeper had used personal vehicle to pick-up their children from school a time or two. Multiple other law firms had rejected the case prior to our representation. (2016 Settlement; Date of Loss 5/1/2015), 2016
- $500,000.00 settlement (limits of applicable insurance policies) Boyfriend and girlfriend injured by negligent driver who ran a red light in Sacramento County, CA. Moderate automobile collision. However, accident necessitated our female client undergo lumbar surgery at 20-years-of-age. (2016 Settlement; 8/2/2014 Date of Loss), 2016
- Mediated $250,000.00 settlement against Indian Tribe. Indian Tribe representative supervising archaeological dig struck and injured archaeologist with his truck. Catastrophic injury to humerus / arm / wrist / hand. Indian Tribe had sovereign immunity and therefore legally did not have to pay any money. Multiple other law firms had rejected case. The husband and wife were ejected from their motorcycle. Their injuries required they be transported via helicopter for emergency trauma treatment., 2015
- $100,000.00 settlement (limits of the applicable insurance policies) Fatal collision between motorcyclist and automobile occurred in Long Beach, California. The automobile driver failed to yield for the motorcyclist and made a negligent left turn. The Traffic Collision Report puts decedent motorcyclist at fault for running the red light. We retained an accident reconstruction expert who concluded that the motorcyclist was not speeding, entered the intersection on a yellow light, and was lane splitting. Lane splitting is legal in the state of California. Sadly the motorcyclist was projected into a traffic light pole, and within 2 hours was pronounced dead in the hospital. The decedent had served our country in the military., 2015
- $500,000.00 settlement (limits of all applicable insurance policies) 71 year-old walking in her neighborhood hit by driver in Murrieta. Driver blind out of left eye, and as a result of the collision, a DMV re-examination notice was sent to the driver. Pedestrian sustained brain injury when she was thrown from vehicle onto the roadway. Among other injuries, client sustained 2 focal motor seizures, traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage, humeral neck fracture, intraventricular hemorrhage, two 2.5 cm lacerations to the back of the head requiring staples, and bilateral hearing loss. Client underwent open treatment of right proximal humeral fracture with dislocation of the glenohumeral joint, 2015
- Case #STK-PR-MC-2016-0000416 $25,000.00 settlement (limits of all applicable insurance policies). 3 1/2-year-old girl was playing with her cousin on the driveway in the front yard of her cousin's house when her aunt pulled into the driveway at a high rate of speed and ran her over. She sustained serious injuries, including a concussion and grade 1 lacerations of the medial posterior right liver lobe. Miraculously she survived, 2014
