Eric N. Landau

A partner of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP, Eric N. Landau is also co-chair of the Securities Litigation Department, and represents clients in West Coast Irvine, California, in matters of securities law, corporate law and litigation. For more than four decades, his clients have considered him a trusted legal adviser, and he represents those in a wide range of industries, including hospitality, gaming, alcoholic beverages, media, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, fashion, energy, health care, technology and financial.

Mr. Landau is admitted to practice in New York, Illinois, the District of Columbia and California. The Century City Bar Association named him Securities Lawyers of the Year, and Lawdragon included him on their list of 100 Lawyers You Need to Know in Securities Litigation.

At Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Landau graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Biology. He then attended Washington University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1982. A former delegate for the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, he was also the president of the Orange County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and a former executive committee member for the RAND Institute for Civil Justice.

Currently, Mr. Landau is chair of the Central District of California’s Local Rules Advisory Committee. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and federal courts in Michigan, Nevada, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, New York and California.
