George Straggas

Mr. Straggas embarked on his academic journey at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1983. He then pursued his legal education at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating in 1987. 

During his time there, Mr. Straggas was honored with the American Jurisprudence award in unfair business practices law and won the McGeorge National Moot Court Best Brief award in his second year. After obtaining his license to practice law in California in 1987, he gained admission to all federal district courts in California and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

A respected member of the legal community, Mr. Straggas has shared his insights by teaching legal writing at the McGeorge School of Law and conducting programs on the American legal system in local schools. He has also contributed his time as a board of trustees member for the Orange County Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He has taken on the role of president for the Greater Irvine Lions Club. Additionally, he has been an influential figure in the Orange County Bar Association's Attorney-Client Fee Arbitration Program, where he has been a guiding force as both a sole and lead arbitrator since 2008.

Previously, Mr. Straggas served as the head of commercial litigation within the Financial Services Group at a prominent national law firm that handles various legal matters.
