Kenneth W. Chung

Kenneth W. Chung represents clients in Irvine, California, as a senior managing partner at the law firm of Kring & Chung Attorneys LLP. He has nearly three decades of experience helping his clients resolve conflicts and reach favorable results. A significant portion of his client base is made up of people who are facing legal issues involving business transactions, real estate, products liability, commercial and corporate litigation, employment law, intellectual property and contract disputes.

Fluent in English and Korean, Mr. Chung attended the University of California, Berkeley, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in business administration in 1990. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1993 and became authorized to practice law in California the same year. As an outshining law student, he was a part of the USF Law Review. 

In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Chung was honored with multiple awards and accolades. He was listed among the Top Lawyers by Orange Coast Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Orange County Register and The American Registry. A native of Seoul, Korea, Mr. Chung is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce, the Pacific West Association of Realtors, the Asian Business Association of Orange County, the American Bar Association and the Orange County Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He functions as the advisory board member of Irvine Valley College Paralegal Department and is the co-founder and elected president of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association.

He is never afraid to stand by his clients’ side through litigation and has represented businesses ranging from eminent multinational companies to small startups. He frequently speaks and presents on interesting topics related to his field and is the author of a number of articles for prominent publications. 

When not lawyering, Mr. Chung focuses his time and efforts on serving his community. He regularly offers pro bono legal services to those who cannot afford it. He conducts many charity sports events to benefit poor children and was a part of Caterina's Club’s food drive, an initiative to supply warm nutritional meals to underprivileged children.
