Having graduated magna cum laude from Saint Michael’s College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mr. Bois subsequently pursued his legal education at Saint Louis University School of Law. In 1981, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree and has since demonstrated his legal acumen by successfully trying and litigating over 100 cases to judgment. Formerly serving as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Irvine, he has also received certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Mr. Bois is a member of the Environmental Law sections of both the Orange County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California, the Supreme Court of the United States and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

A speaker for the Building Industry Association, the California Continuing Education of the Bar, and the American Bar Association, he also authored and co-authored numerous journal articles and four recognized legal texts. Furthermore, he is certified as a biblical counselor by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

Mr. Bois has tried over 100 matters to judgment or verdict, including complex environmental disputes. Mr. Bois has litigated several hundred environmental disputes in California's federal and state courts. Mr. Bois has handled several hundred environmental compliance and brownfield matters throughout the U.S.
