Serving clients across Los Angeles and Southern California, Alexander R. Wheeler is a partner at Parris Law Firm in Lancaster, California. He dedicates his practice to advocating for victims of life-altering personal injuries, including brain injuries, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises liability and wrongful death, as well as championing employee rights in wage and hour disputes. He combines deep legal knowledge with relentless advocacy to secure full accountability and complete recovery for every client.
Upon completing his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2000 and earning his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine Law School in 2005, Mr. Wheeler was admitted to practice law in California. Additionally, he is also admitted to appear before federal courts across districts and the U.S. Supreme Court. He currently serves on Pepperdine’s board of advisers. An educator, he frequently lectures at Pepperdine and Continuing Legal Education conferences on trial persuasion, depositions and litigation strategy.
Since joining his current firm in 2007, Mr. Wheeler has recovered well over $700 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients. Driven by a steadfast commitment to protecting victims' rights against powerful interests, he relentlessly fights to ensure justice for them. His formidable litigation strategy was highlighted in 2025 when he secured a $36.4 million jury verdict for a single plaintiff in a severe car crash case in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. Wheeler has obtained multiple 7- and 8- figure verdicts in the past few years alone, including most recently a $4.5 million jury verdict for a motorcycle crash case in Palmdale and a $58.3 million jury verdict for a slip and fall case in Palmdale.
Approaching every case with customized strategies and clear, transparent communication, Mr. Wheeler prioritizes each client’s unique story. His tailored advocacy earned him an honor as the Top Plaintiffs’ Lawyer by the Daily Journal in 2022 and two Antelope Valley Trial Lawyer of the Year awards in 2009 and 2014 respectively. Dedicated to making a broader social impact, he also serves on the board of directors for Penny Lane Centers, a nonprofit caring for neglected individuals and families.
