Scott D. Cohen

A knowledgeable and dedicated attorney, Scott D. Cohen is the founder and managing attorney of the law firm North Bay Justice, APC, headquartered in Rohnert Park, California. Serving people throughout the state of California, he exhibits deep empathy for his clients and caters to their legal needs pertaining to fields of law including personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and business litigation and civil litigation matters. 

Committed to serving the most vulnerable sections of society, Mr. Cohen has successfully led and won battles with multinational corporates and insurance companies, obtaining on behalf of his clients verdicts worth millions of dollars. Apart from this, he assists his clients on government intrusion issues at the state, local and municipal levels, consumer protection issues, noncompliance with constitutional law, and other disputes.

Commencing his career in law as a paralegal, Mr. Cohen secured his doctorate in jurisprudence in 2017 and also holds a master’s degree in legal studies. He graduated summa cum laude (highest honors) from UC Davis in 2007 where he earned a Bachelor degree in sociology with an emphasis on law along with statistical research methodologies. Scott is licensed to practice in California. 

Before founding North Bay Justice, APC, Mr. Cohen worked in various other sectors, gaining invaluable practical knowledge and experience through multidisciplinary interactions. He had the opportunity to take roles as a Housing and Urban Development compliance coordinator, social services manager and was a data analyst on Market Street in San Francisco prior to becoming a lawyer. Scott uses he data analytics background in his legal practice to run mock jury/focus groups and gather data on likely outcomes prior to taking his cases to trial.
