Laurel N. Haag

Laurel N. Haag is an employment litigation attorney with Buchsbaum & Haag, LLP, and represents clients in Miami. Her focus areas include matters of sexual harassment, wage and hour laws, whistleblower laws, employment law, retaliation, wrongful termination and employment discrimination. She is dedicated to protecting the rights of the average employee.

With almost two decades of experience, Ms. Haag is admitted to practice in the state of California. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

In 1997, Ms. Haag graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, with her undergraduate degree. She then moved on to obtain her Juris Doctor in 2000 from the same school. While a law student, she taught a course on sexual harassment to undergraduate students. Since 2015, she has been selected as a Top Women’s Lawyer of Southern California.

Before she began exclusively representing employees, Ms. Haag spent time working on the management side of a large firm. This gave her insight into how both employee and employer are affected by employment law, and she has obtained millions of dollars in settlements and trial verdicts for her clients who have been wronged by an employer. She is currently a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association’s Employment Law Section and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
