Benson K. Lau

Attorney Benson K. Lau is a partner at Satnick Lau LLP in Los Angeles, California, where he focuses his practice on cannabis law and litigation, serving cannabis businesses and investors throughout Los Angeles. He also represents cultivators, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, testers and other individuals in the cannabis industry.

Mr. Lau helps clients with both litigation and transactional issues involving contracts, intellectual property, licensing and registration, landlord-tenant disputes, mergers and acquisitions, and municipal matters. In addition to cannabis law, he handles business, entertainment and general litigation matters. He advises clients on a wide range of business issues such as bankruptcy, consulting, employment, corporate formation and planning, partnerships and real estate.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Lau worked as a National Association of Securities Dealers-registered financial adviser. Deane School of Law and obtained his license to practice law in 2012. He is qualified to appear before all California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
