Connie obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California--Los Angeles in 1999 and graduated from The University of Chicago Law School in 2003.
She has over 20 years of civil litigation experience, handling both individual and class action cases regarding a broad spectrum of state and federal consumer protection laws, as well as involving contract law, labor and employment claims, and a variety of other business disputes. She also serves as counsel to medical staffs regarding investigations, in fair hearing proceedings, and responding to medical board subpoenas.
In 2024, Connie and her friend and business partner Ruby W. Wood founded Wood Tcheng LLP, a woman-owned, boutique law firm, with expertise in medical staff law and civil litigation.
Connie serves on the Executive Committee and as the Treasurer for the National Board of the American Civil Liberties Union. She additionally serves on the board for the ACLU of Southern California.
