Douglas N. Silverstein

As the founding partner of the Los Angeles firm, Kesluk, Silverstein, Jacob & Morrison, P.C., Douglas N. Silverstein is the lead attorney in labor, employment, trial and class action efforts. His practice focuses on protecting the rights of employees in a wide variety of areas, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblowers, and wage and hour class actions.

Mr. Silverstein is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California and is a member of the American, California, and Los Angeles County Bars Labor and Employment Law Sections. Before representing hourly workers to executives, he represented numerous Fortune 500 corporations, he has been involved in cases that established law on issues of first impression, and has substantial "traditional labor" experience before the National Labor Relations Board.

Mr. Silverstein is the President of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles for 2022, and the immediate past Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Litigation Section.  He regularly meets with judges and leading lawyers to assist in the administration of justice in Los Angeles and California.  Mr. Silverstein regularly writes and lectures on labor issues and has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions to legal aid foundations in California that provide access to justice for those unable to afford it.
