Elina Antoniou

Elina Antoniou is of counsel to Los Angeles-based Bergman Dacey Goldsmith. With a varied practice that encompasses real estate transactions, eminent domain, and real estate and other types of business litigation, she represents public entities and private parties throughout the greater metropolitan area.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Antoniou studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in political science and received a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in 2007. Upon her graduation, she was inducted into The Phi Beta Society. Remaining in Westwood for her legal education, she attended the UCLA School of Law, Los Angeles, where she earned the Dean's merit scholarship and served as Article's Editor for the Women's Law Journal.  Also during law school, she worked for the Los Angeles office of an international law firm and completed several internships, including with the ACLU of Southern California and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, before being awarded her Juris Doctor in 2010.

In Ms. Antoniou’s eminent domain practice, she represents governmental agencies in the acquisition of real property interests for public use and benefit. Her experience in this regard has included guiding clients through the pre-condemnation process and litigating eminent domain actions to their conclusion. Ms. Antoniou is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
