Earning her law degree in 2008 from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Lubans passed the bar exam and gained her license to practice law in Massachusetts the same year. In 2010, she was admitted to practice in New York, and in 2011, in the state of California. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Kenyon College.

During law school, Ms. Lubans took part in a judicial clerkship and after graduation she practiced family law at a reputable law firm in Boston. She then relocated to California in 2011 and joined her current firm, Wasser, Cooperman & Mandles, P.C., as an associate, after which she was promoted to partner in January 2020.

Actively involved in many prominent legal associations, Ms. Lubans is a member of The State Bar of California, the New York State Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She also served as a member of the Family Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association in 2011.
