Gloria Allred

Gloria Allred is a partner at Allred, Maroko & Goldberg, located in Los Angeles, California, where she focuses her practice on employment law and civil rights matters. Known for her advocacy on behalf of individuals facing workplace injustice, she represents clients in cases involving sexual harassment, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Her work also includes matters related to age discrimination, sexual abuse and broader employment rights.

Ms. Allred is widely recognized for her commitment to protecting employees and advancing equality in the workplace. Through both litigation and public advocacy, she has played a prominent role in high-profile cases addressing systemic discrimination and harassment. Ms. Allred earned her bachelor’s degree in English with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 1963 and later obtained a master’s degree from New York University in 1966. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude, from Loyola Law School in 1975. That same year, she was admitted to the California Bar and the New York Bar in 2013.

A distinguished professional, Ms. Allred is admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Allred is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including The State Bar of California and the National Association of Women Lawyers. She has also served as president of the Women’s Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund. 

Ms. Allred’s contributions to the legal profession have been recognized with multiple lifetime achievement awards, including honors from the National Organization for Women and The National Trial Lawyers.
