Kristen K. Hirashima

Kristen K. Hirashima is a partner at Shebby • Hirashima LLP in Los Angeles, California, and a board-certified specialist in family law, a distinction awarded by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Earning this certification at the earliest opportunity – just five years into practice – she quickly established herself as a skilled and trusted advocate in family law. 

Ms. Hirashima’s practice includes complex child custody litigation, property division and characterization, business valuations, paternity disputes, domestic violence cases, and the calculation of child and spousal support. She has earned wide recognition for her achievements in family law. She has been selected annually since 2020 for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for her excellence in family law representation.

Before co-founding Shebby • Hirashima LLP, Ms. Hirashima was a partner at another prominent law firm, where she gained extensive experience in high-conflict and high-asset matters. Her dedication and work ethic trace back to her upbringing in Oxnard, where she helped her family on their strawberry farm, instilling in her discipline and perseverance that continue to guide her practice today.

Ms. Hirashima earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she represented juveniles as a Certified Law Student at the Center for Juvenile Law and Policy, and served as Vice President of the Women’s Law Association. She completed her undergraduate degree in social science at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she was a Division I Track and Field scholarship athlete competing as a sprinter.

Ms. Hirashima is an active member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, the Family Law branch of the American Inns of Court, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Japanese American Bar Association and the Korean American Bar Association.
