Attorney Lynard C. Hinojosa is a partner at the Los Angeles law firm of Hinojosa & Forer LLP. Mr. Hinojosa dedicates his practice to probate and estate litigation, representing clients in Los Angeles and throughout California in matters of accounting and surcharge issues, asset recovery, conservatorships, fiduciary services and guardianships as well as disputes involving conservatorship appointments, fiduciaries, trust interpretation, beneficiaries and trustees and more.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Mr. Hinojosa attained his law degree from Yale Law School. He has been admitted to practice in the state of California since 1968 and has more than four decades of litigation experience. He is also familiar with common alternative dispute resolution techniques such as arbitration and mediation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hinojosa has been recognized for his contributions to the legal profession. In 2015, the Los Angeles County Bar Association presented him with the Arthur K. Marshall Award for his work on behalf of the Los Angeles based probate and trust community.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hinojosa has served in the roles of lecturer, panelist and moderator for numerous seminars and continuing legal education conferences. He has also authored articles on estate and probate matters for a number of legal publications.
A fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Mr. Hinojosa is a member of associations including the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also formerly served on the executive committee of the estate planning, trust and probate section of The State Bar of California.
