He gained admission to practice in California in 2006 and, in 2008, was admitted to the State Bar of Montana. Furthermore, he is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California.
Previously, Mr. Flahaut served as president of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California and a board member of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum. He is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Los Angeles Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
