Attorney Michele M. Goldsmith is a shareholder with the Bergman Dacey Goldsmith law firm, which has law offices in Los Angeles, Costa Mesa and Oxnard, California. A top-rated attorney with more than 23 years of experience, Ms. Goldsmith focuses her practice primarily on representing the management of various public and private entities throughout Southern California in complex labor and employment law litigation and dispute resolution.
A veteran of numerous bench and jury trials, Ms. Goldsmith has achieved notable success representing the rights and interests of school districts before administrative hearings involving dismissals and suspensions as well as hearings before the California Labor Commissioner. A leader in her field, she has written extensively and conducted lectures and seminars across her region on a variety of legal topics surrounding labor and employment law issues.
After graduating cum laude from California State University, Northridge, Ms. Goldsmith attended Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1995. The State Bar of California admitted her to practice that same year, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, she has served as mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court Labor and Employment “CRASH” Program since 2012.
Highly active in her legal community, Ms. Goldsmith is a member of the labor and employment divisions of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Mackrell International. She is also a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the American Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the California Public Employers Labor Relations Association, among her other professional affiliations.
Recognized for her professionalism and service, Ms. Goldsmith has earned designation as being among the Top Women Attorneys of Southern California each year since 2012, and she has received numerous other awards and honors as well.
