Nancy L. Burt

Nancy L. Burt is a family law attorney at Feinberg, Mindel, Brandt & Klein, LLP, in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Burt is a partner in the firm’s family law department and represents clients throughout the Los Angeles area. She has over 30 years of experience and provides dedicated and committed representation to each client.

Over her time as a family law attorney, Ms. Burt has resolved numerous complex family law cases through litigation or mediation. She has been certified by The State Bar of California Legal Specialization program as a family law specialist and is qualified to appear before all California state courts.

Understanding that her clients are going through an emotionally complicated time in their lives, Ms. Burt provides compassionate legal services, while providing honest and realistic advice. She works hard to gain the trust of her clients and guide them through the legal process so they can come out on the other side and make a fresh start.

In addition to managing her family law practice, Ms. Burt is the head of her law firm’s summer law clinic, allowing her the opportunity to mentor young law students. She is active in the Los Angeles legal community and a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, Ms. Burt earned her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. During law school, she authored an article on sex discrimination that appeared in the University of San Francisco Law Review. Prior to joining Feinberg, Mindel, Brandt & Klein, LLP, she practiced at another Los Angeles-based firm, where she also focused her practice on family law.
