Ronnivashti Whitehead

Ronni Whitehead has dedicated her career to representing injured individuals since her admission to practice law in California in 2006. From the very beginning, Ronni has understood that success in a personal injury case requires more than legal knowledge — it demands an unwavering commitment to seeking justice for every client. Her goal in every case is to ensure that her clients receive full, fair, and complete compensation for the life-altering consequences they face due to the wrongful or negligent actions of others.

Over the years, Ronni has represented clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, with a primary focus on motor vehicle accidents, including car accidents, truck accidents, pedestrian accidents, and motorcycle accidents. In addition to motor vehicle accidents, Ronni also handles premises liability cases, including slip and fall accidents and animal bites. These types of cases often involve some of the most devastating injuries, and Ronni has seen firsthand the tremendous challenges that victims and their families must overcome. Lost wages, missed job opportunities, mounting medical bills, unpaid expenses, and the strain on family life are just a few of the hardships that often arise after a serious collision. Ronni believes no one should have to face these burdens alone. She takes pride in being not only a strong legal advocate in the courtroom and at the negotiation table, but also a steady source of guidance and support throughout her clients’ recovery process.

For nearly two decades, Ronni has focused her practice exclusively on personal injury law with The Barnes Firm. During this time, she has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most accomplished attorneys and dedicated support staff in Los Angeles and beyond. Being part of this team has allowed her to hone her skills, strengthen her trial experience, and provide clients with the highest level of advocacy.

When Ronni accepts a case, it means much more than simply taking on another file. It is a commitment to devote the time, resources, and energy necessary to pursue the outcome her clients deserve. Whether through aggressive litigation, strategic negotiation, or meticulous case preparation, Ronni approaches every case with the same determination: to achieve justice and to restore, as much as possible, what has been lost.

Ms. Whitehead has served on the Board of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) since 2009 and is an Emeritus Board Member. She is a lifetime member of the following organizations: California Association of Black Lawyers, Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (BWL), The John M. Langston Bar Association and The National Bar Association. Ms. Whitehead is a past President of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc.
