A bar-certified appellate specialist, Mr. Wu leads the appellate and complex motion practice at one of California’s largest plaintiff’s-side firms. For his work representing employees and consumers in class and private attorney general actions, Mr. Wu received the California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (CLAY) award. He has achieved many important appellate victories, including several named “Top Appellate Reversals” by Daily Journal. He also handles high-stakes fee disputes and supervises settlement approval for the firm, including leading negotiations on the highly publicized Ford transmission settlement valued at over $100 million. He regularly speaks at conferences and legal education events and his work has been published by California Litigation Review, California Labor & Employment Review, Daily Journal, and Los Angeles Lawyer, among other publications. He currently serves on the Committee for Appellate Courts for the California Lawyers Association (CLA).
