Stephanie Granato

Stephanie Granato is a corporate transactional attorney who advises growing companies, entrepreneurs, and investors.  Her practice focuses on launching and scaling early stage ventures, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial matters, and corporate governance.  She acts as an outsource general counsel for clients in a variety of industries including technology, entertainment, events, music, e-commerce, CBD, retail, manufacturing and distribution.    

Ms. Granato received her J.D. degree from Yale Law School, where she was an editor of the Journal of International Law, her master’s degree from the London School of Economics, and her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  Ms. Granato is admitted to the bar in California, New York, Washington, D.C. and Connecticut. 

Ms. Granato collaborates with clients to understand their businesses and goals in order to maximize the strategic and economic value of the legal guidance she provides.   Before founding Granato Law Office, she practiced law in New York with global law firm Simpson, Thatcher & Bartlett  in the corporate transactional group, and in Los Angeles with a boutique corporate firm.  Before law school, Ms. Granato served as an analyst at Houlihan Lokey, a mid-market investment bank where she designed financial models and valued securities of private companies. 

Ms. Granato’s entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Creative Technologies Inc., a company that conceives, designs and delivers novel, immersive, cognitive simulation solutions for Government and Industry.  She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Women Entrepreneurs Global Inc., a  full stack, startup innovation studio and digital platform for women entrepreneurs around the world.
