A highly respected civil litigation attorney, Stephen L. Raucher is a partner at Reuben Raucher & Blum. From the firm's offices in Los Angeles, California, he represents individual and business clients throughout the greater metropolitan area in a variety of cases. With extensive experience assisting both plaintiffs and defendants, Mr. Raucher has handled construction and other real estate disputes; legal and other forms of professional malpractice; breach of fiduciary duty and unfair competition claims; contract breaches; and similar matters. Mr. Raucher also has a strong background in insurance coverage issues, including errors and omissions, general liability and directors and officers policies.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Raucher attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in English and received a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in 1989. He then pursued his legal studies at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. While he was there, Mr. Raucher served as an associate editor of Ecology Law Quarterly, a highly respected environmental law journal. After being awarded his Juris Doctor in 1992, Mr. Raucher was an associate at a leading Los Angeles firm before joining his current firm in October 1994. Admitted to practice before all California state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Raucher has long been active in several legal organizations. He is a past president of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and he has served on several of that group's committees and sections. Mr. Raucher has also been a member of the board of trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
