Steven A. Mindel

Steven A. Mindel is the Managing Partner of 18 attorney law firm, Feinberg Mindel Brandt & Klein LLP, located in Los Angeles, California. Representing clients throughout the area, his practice is primarily in family law. Mr. Mindel has been certified as a family law specialist by the Board of Legal Specialization of The State Bar of California.

Mr. Mindel pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in economics in 1981. He then went on to attend the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctor in 1985. Mr. Mindel is admitted to practice in California state courts and before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Mindel has obtained many successful resolutions for his clients since he began his legal career in 1985, and his quality work has led to recognition from his fellow professionals. He has been selected for inclusion in the list of The Best Lawyers in America each year since 2010, and he has received an AV* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Mindel devotes a significant portion of his time to volunteering in his community. He was the recipient of special recognition awards from the Los Angeles Free Clinic for his volunteer work in the area of family law in 2001 and 2004. Mr. Mindel is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Levitt & Quinn Family Law Center Advisory Council, and he serves as the Chair Elect of the executive committee of the Family Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is frequently asked to deliver presentations on family law and law office management topics to groups of fellow attorneys.
