The founder of Toni Jaramilla, A Professional Law Corporation, Ms. Jaramilla has over 25 years of experience handling matters involving sexual harassment, disability accommodations, leave law violations, retaliation, wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, and civil rights, police abuse cases and wrongful death. She represents clients from all income levels throughout the Los Angeles area.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Jaramilla has successfully litigated and settled hundreds of cases resulting in verdicts and recoveries worth millions of dollars. She has experience arguing before state, federal and appellate courts and assists with drafting legislation designed to protect workers’ rights.

The recipient of numerous honors and awards, Ms. Jaramilla is rated one of the “Top 75 California Labor and Employment lawyers” by the LA Daily Journal. She is often quoted on issues of employment law and featured in many news print publications including the Daily Journal, Variety, Bloomberg, and Los Angeles Times.  Major TV news media have headlined several of Ms. Jaramilla's employment law and civil rights cases and activism in the community.

Ms. Jaramilla was instrumental during the #MeToo movement in advancing greater protections for women.  She testified at the Capitol and along with workers' rights organizations, helped draft legislation that has strengthened the anti-harassment and discrimination laws in California.  Several of the legislation that she worked on have been signed into law by Governor Brown and Governor Newsom.

In addition to her law practice, Ms. Jaramilla has been a guest lecturer at the University of California, Irvine, School of Law and regularly speaks on employment law topics before numerous organizations and radio shows. She has held Chair/President positions with the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), the Foundation for Advocacy Inclusion and Resources (FAIR), the State Bar Labor & Employment Section, and the Philippine American Bar Association (PABA).

Ms. Jaramilla earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles and her juris doctorate from Whittier School of Law.  She is licensed to practice law in California and Hawaii.
