Jason Riddick

Jason Riddick is the principal attorney at Riddick Law APC, located in Malibu, California. Upon graduating from the California State University, Chico, with a bachelor’s degree, Mr. Riddick pursued his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Gaining his Juris Doctor in 2004, he went on to earn his license to practice law in California. Before transitioning to a career in litigation, he worked as a legislative aide at the California State Assembly, where he navigated bills through the legislative process on behalf of Assemblywoman Patricia C. Bates.

Starting his law practice as a litigation associate, Mr. Riddick focused on areas including securities fraud, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigations, copyright infringement, class action defense and business torts. He has extensive experience with representing financial institutions, real estate developers, entertainment and pharmaceutical companies, insurers and high net worth individuals. Among the various cases Mr. Riddick has handled in the past, most recently, he represented the plaintiff in a professional negligence lawsuit against a national title insurance company and won the plaintiff a six-figure settlement in 2026. He also successfully obtained the grant of an Anti-SLAPP motion to strike allegations in support of a multimillion-dollar elder abuse counterclaim, which led to a favorable settlement of the case prior to the fee award hearing.
