Ladd Cahoon

Ladd Cahoon’s practice centers around the strategic and efficient management of environmental assessments, remediation, and mitigation.  Ladd assists property owners, sellers, and buyers with the identification and cost-effective resolution of environmental issues, and with the recovery of costs from responsible parties, as well as from governmental grants.  Ladd has overseen hundreds of Phase I and II environmental site assessments, procured environmental insurance, and defended clients in administrative agency proceedings and litigation. He also represents and advises clients in connection with underground storage tanks (USTs), storm water, wetlands, CEQA, and Prop. 65.  Ladd’s clients include residential and commercial real estate developers, retailers, chemical and pharmaceutical companies, ranchers, ports, winery and vineyard owners, and neighborhood groups.
