While pursuing his legal degree, Mr. Coetzee completed an externship with the Orange County District Attorney's office, and he served as legal clerk for the Honorable Robert Monarch of the Orange County Superior Court. Upon receiving his license to practice in 2008, he then joined another prominent area law firm, where he focused primarily on high-conflict, complex family law litigation. Along with family law, Mr. Coetzee also has notable experience with business, real estate and personal injury litigation.
Highly active in his legal community, Mr. Coetzee is a member of the family law sections of the Monterey County Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the American Bar Association, as well as the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division.
