Robert F. Brennan

The founder of the Law Offices of Robert Brennan, Robert F. Brennan handles a variety of civil cases, including consumer protection, personal injury and wrongful death litigation, insurance coverage, and general business matters. Trying several cases each year to jury verdict, he enjoys a very high success percentage, and his colleagues have taken note by awarding him an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 “Superb” peer review rating through Avvo. Mr. Brennan’s firm is located in Montrose, California, and he represents clients throughout Los Angeles County.

Mr. Brennan’s practice includes representing car owners who have purchased a vehicle that is constantly in need of repairs. The California “lemon law” is embodied in the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and its federal counterpart is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Other consumer protection matters that Mr. Brennan has worked on have included violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as motor vehicle dealer fraud.

In his personal injury practice, Mr. Brennan has represented people who have been harmed as a result of the negligence of other parties. These matters have involved medical malpractice, defective products, construction site accidents, and truck and other motor vehicle crashes, and he has been able to obtain significant compensation for his clients through jury awards as well as settlements that he has negotiated out of court.

The nephew of the late former U.S. Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan, Jr., Mr. Brennan is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of California, Davis, School of Law.
