During her time in law school, she interned at a distinguished personal injury law firm in Westwood and also worked at the San Francisco office of a leading telecommunications company.

Additionally, Ms. Murillo exhibited her legal prowess by actively participating in mock trial competitions, serving as a staff editor for the Women's Law Journal and assuming membership in the Intellectual Property and South Asian Law Students Associations. After completing her legal studies, she embarked on a career at a prominent intellectual property boutique practice in Irvine, where she honed her skills in business litigation and intellectual property law. However, her passion for helping families in need led her to transition to exclusive practice in family law.

Ms. Murillo’s commitment to mastering her craft led her to graduate from the National Family Law Trial Institute in Houston, where she trained under some of the foremost professionals in family law, sharpening her business valuation and trial advocacy skills. She has also undergone rigorous training at the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) College of Trial Advocacy.

Beyond her capability in family law, Ms. Murillo is a respected and active member of the OCBA’s Young Lawyers Division and Family Law Section. Additionally, she co-chairs the Community Outreach Committee of OCBA and is a committed participant in the South Asian Bar Association.
