Jeffrey Roberts

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Jeffrey Roberts is the founder of Newport Beach-based firm, Roberts | Jeandron Law. He focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, and he represents clients throughout the region. Mr. Roberts has been admitted to practice before all California state courts since 1996.

After graduating from the University of California, Riverside, where he majored in political science and earned a bachelor’s degree, Mr. Roberts went on to pursue his legal education at the University of Miami School of Law, and in 1996, he was awarded his Juris Doctor. He then returned to his native California and was an associate attorney with an insurance company for a year before entering private practice. This experience has allowed Mr. Roberts to anticipate the types of tactics that defendants and their liability insurance providers often employ, now that he is representing plaintiffs who have been significantly harmed because of the negligence of other parties.

A significant portion of Mr. Roberts’s practice involves accidents involving passenger cars, big rigs, motorcycles, buses, pedestrians and bicycles. Other personal injury and wrongful death claims that he has worked on have included premises liability, defective products and nursing home neglect, and other types of elder abuse. Since becoming a plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. Roberts has been able to obtain millions of dollars in compensation for his clients, both through settlements that he has negotiated and from jury awards at the conclusion of trials. This has earned him the admiration of his fellow members of the bar, including a “Superb” peer review rating through Avvo. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys of California and the American Association for Justice.
