Maryam Parman

Maryam Parman is the CEO, founder and managing partner of Avrek Law Firm in Newport Beach, California, where she focuses on representing individuals who have suffered serious injuries in motor vehicle and other accidents. Her practice centers on personal injury litigation, with particular experience handling car accidents, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, motorcycle accidents and trucking accidents.

Ms. Parman’s legal career is distinguished by her focus on complex personal injury cases and her ability to pursue substantial results for clients. One notable case involved a client whose vehicle was rear-ended on the 10 Freeway, resulting in a severe brain injury. She engineered a $19 million jury verdict in the case, demonstrating her experience handling high-stakes litigation involving catastrophic injuries. Her work in serious accident cases requires careful examination of the circumstances surrounding a collision, the extent of a client’s injuries and the evidence needed to establish liability and damages.

Academically, Ms. Parman earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine, in 1992. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in 1997. She was admitted to practice law in California in 1998. She is also a member of all four federal district courts in California, expanding the scope of her legal practice beyond state court proceedings.

Ms. Parman also plays a leadership role in the firm’s work representing individuals injured in accidents. Her practice encompasses a broad range of transportation-related personal injury matters.
