Polina Logrue

As a former prosecutor with the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Polina Logrue brings extensive courtroom experience and a comprehensive understanding of California's criminal justice system. Her passion for criminal law began during law school, where she clerked for the Orange County District Attorney's Office and gained firsthand experience in the investigation, charging, and prosecution of criminal cases. Following graduation, she was selected for the prestigious Orange County District Attorney Fellowship Program and was subsequently hired as a Deputy District Attorney.

During her tenure with the District Attorney's Office, Ms. Logrue handled thousands of criminal cases from initial filing through motions, negotiations, evidentiary hearings, and jury trials. She prosecuted a wide range of offenses, including DUI, domestic violence, narcotics crimes, theft offenses, assault, burglary, robbery, hit-and-run, child molestation, and other misdemeanor and felony matters. She also served as the assigned Deputy District Attorney for the misdemeanor Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit, where she specialized in prosecuting cases involving human exploitation and trafficking-related offenses.

Today, Ms. Logrue focuses her practice on defending individuals accused of crimes throughout California. She represents clients facing everything from misdemeanors to complex, high-stakes felony prosecutions, including violent crimes, robbery, burglary, firearm offenses, narcotics offenses, domestic violence, white-collar crimes, and other serious felony allegations. Her experience prosecuting these cases provides her with valuable insight into how prosecutors evaluate evidence, prepare cases for trial, and negotiate resolutions—knowledge she now uses to develop strategic, aggressive defenses for her clients.

A dedicated trial attorney, Ms. Logrue spent nearly every day in the courtroom as a Deputy District Attorney and continues to maintain an active litigation practice as a criminal defense lawyer. Her extensive courtroom experience allows her to confidently advocate for clients at every stage of the criminal process, from arraignment through trial.

Prior to her legal career in California, Ms. Logrue worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C., serving in a congressional office. This experience provided her with a unique understanding of the legislative process, federal government operations, and the development of laws and public policy. She is also a licensed mediator specializing in civil and commercial mediation.
