As the founding shareholder for McKennon Law Group PC, with offices in Newport Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco California, attorney Robert J. McKennon focuses his practice on representing individuals and businesses with insurance-related matters in both state and federal courts. Serving clients in Newport Beach, Los Angeles, Long Beach and the surrounding areas in California, he litigates on behalf of those who have legal needs related to the following:

After graduating with honors from The California State University in 1982, Mr. McKennon obtained his Juris Doctor from University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1985. The State Bar of California admitted him to practice the following year, and he is also admitted to practice before all U.S. Federal Courts in California as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
As testament to his extensive knowledge and experience with insurance law, especially in the areas of disability, life and health insurance claims ligitation involving ERISA and insurance bad faith, Mr. McKennon regularly authors articles for the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and he is the editor for the California Insurance Litigation Blog. He has also published dozens of articles and delivered numerous lectures on topics related to insurance, ERISA and disability insurance benefits.
