As a partner at Butler Viadro, LLP, Christopher A. Viadro provides dedicated legal representation to Californians in Oakland, San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area, including Alameda, San Francisco and Contra Costa counties. He focuses his practice on personal injury law, generally handling cases that involve catastrophic injuries resulting from dangerous premises, defective products, and industrial, elevator, auto, maritime and refinery accidents. Mr. Viadro also accepts cases involving professional negligence matters and union workers' compensation litigation.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Viadro went on to attend the University of San Francisco School of Law. From there, he received a Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude.
Mr. Viadro has built a reputation for aggressive advocacy on behalf of his clients. He understands the devastating effect that suffering an injury due to the negligent, reckless or intentional actions of others can have on people and their families. For that reason, he strives to see his clients' rights upheld and to help them to obtain just compensation for their losses. He is dedicated to maintaining high legal ethics standards while providing quality representation, which has gained him the respect of his clients and his peers. Mr. Viadro has received the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell and he has an Avvo "Superb" rating.
Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Mr. Viadro. He formerly served as the President of the USF School of Law Board of Governors from 2016-18 and is on the Board of the California Applicant's Attorneys' Association ("CAAA") which works, in part, to protect the rights of injured workers in California. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, CAAA, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the San Francisco Trials Lawyers Association and the Alameda Contra Costa County Trial Lawyers Association.Â
*AV Preeminent and BV Distinguished are certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
