John E. Hill is a personal injury attorney with over 50 years of legal experience. He is the founder of the Law Offices of John E. Hill in Oakland, California, serving victims of construction site accidents and other catastrophic injuries. He represents clients throughout the East Bay area, including all of Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
Mr. Hill graduated from the University of Illinois in 1962 with a bachelor’s degree. He earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1969. He also holds a certification in mediation from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.
An accomplished trial lawyer, Mr. Hill is board-certified as a pretrial advocate and a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is qualified to appear before all California state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Central and Eastern Districts of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Over the years, Mr. Hill has recovered high sums in settlements and verdicts for his clients. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and several other professional organizations, including the Alameda County Bar Association, The Bar Association of San Francisco, The State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
