Michael Haley

Michael Haley, a dedicated attorney at Haley Law Offices in Oakland, California, channels his efforts into personal injury, medical malpractice and civil rights cases, including employment and labor law. Not long after joining the firm, he made a name for himself, becoming a leading force in his field. As a third-generation member of the Haley Law Offices and a true Oakland native, Mr. Haley is deeply involved in the Bay Area legal scene. He earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was honored with the Arthur C. Zief Jr. Scholarship and gained invaluable experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Ming W. Chin of the  Supreme Court of California. In 2019, he was licensed in California.

That same year, he was instrumental in achieving a $5.3 million settlement for the family of a young man fatally shot by a Santa Clara police officer. Back in 2019, he co-counseled a jury trial representing a woman who endured severe injuries from a failed vaginal hysterectomy. Despite the responsible physician's denial of fault and refusal to settle, the jury delivered a favorable verdict after a three-week trial.

A respected figure in the legal world, Mr. Haley is actively involved with various professional groups, including the Alameda County Bar Association and the Alameda-Contra Costa County Trial Lawyers’ Association.
