Otis Landerholm

Otis Landerholm is the founding attorney of Landerholm Immigration, A.P.C., in Oakland, California. Mr. Landerholm exclusively focuses his practice on immigration law and serves clients in Oakland and throughout the East Bay area.  He is a certified specialist in immigration and nationality law from the State Bar of California, having demonstrated a high level of experience in immigration law and been favorably evaluated by other legal professionals.

Mr. Landerholm earned bachelor’s degrees in linguistics and philosophy from Washington State University and received his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating with honors.

While attending law school, Mr. Landerholm was a member of the law review’s editorial board and received various awards. He has been licensed to practice law since 2010 and has several years of experience assisting individuals and their families with navigating the complex immigration system.

Mr. Landerholm founded his law firm in 2011. Over the course of his career, he has handled a variety of immigration matters involving asylum, deportation defense, green cards, U.S. citizenship and visas.

Mr. Landerholm has a unique background that provides him with the experience and insight necessary to serve clients from diverse backgrounds who are facing challenges with the immigration system. He has lived in countries, including Argentina, China, Ecuador, Japan and Spain, and speaks English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Landerholm enjoys being actively involved in his legal and professional communities. He is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has served on the Bar Association of San Francisco’s solo and small-firm committee.  He thoroughly enjoys giving know-your-rights presentations to Bay Area communities and non-profits.
